If you have a shorter torso choose a longer jacket such as the classic
blazer. Paired with a skirt, pants or jeans, over a dress, or as part of a two-piece suit, the classic blazer is a versatile style staple with lots of potential.
THE ICONIC CHANEL JACKET
If you have a longer torso choose a shorter jacket, such as the classic Chanel jacket or the motor cycle jacket, a short tweed jacket with contrasting ribbon on the edging. You can never go wrong with a classic Chanel jacket.
BLACK LEATHER MOTOR CYCLE JACKET
The motor cycle jacket is a short and fitted leather jacket with zippers. The ‘moto’ trend is not going away..
The boyfriend cardigan is a long sweater that ties, buttons or zips up the front. It may be a little loose or a well-fitting sweater, a fitted cardigan. Chech out CARDIGAN ONE STAPLE 8 LOOKS
Cotton-cashmere and silk-cashmere blends make this sweater a year-round staple that works with jeans and two-piece suits as well. By simply layering it effectively you can totally change the look. Cashmere is a great long-term wardrobe investment. Scottish cashmere is the best. Merino wool is a less expensive alternative and provides a great balance of softness and durability
THE STATEMENT COAT
The statement coat is any coat of classic styling. It is a piece that you’ll be able to wear for years to come. You can never go wrong with a classic red or bordeaux statement coat. A vintage piece is also a good statement coat (trench coat style statement coat, shown below)
The trench coat is a classic raincoat. Raincoats are usually made from a lightweight fabric, such as poplin, that has a water-resistant finish therefore under-layers must be added in cold weather.
